Infinix presented a new concept device from the Zero series. Zero Mini tri-fold which brings us an interesting interpretation of the tri-fold shape with folding outwards and one inside in flip style, which uses double hinges. The double hinge design allows the display to fold and unfold vertically and form a classic smartphone in normal size. The compacting shape is not a unique idea, we can already recognize it from the Huawei XT model, but Infinix is really compact in the folded state compared to the mentioned model.
The concept device is built to serve multiple purposes – is a full-fledged smartphone that can also fold onto the compact camera shape that you attach to your backpack, bike or car as a dashboard camera.
Infinix provides for the Zero Mini tri-fold concept the role of a hands-free gym accessory that can help in training, help with guided exercise routines or help in navigating mountain trails. The Zero Mini trifold features rear-mounted dual cameras plus a front camera and is built for one-handed use. Although the concept shows a slim smartphone it reveals nothing about weight.
Infinix explores several use cases for the Zero Mini tri-fold as a multifunction device. The goal is to replace several gadgets with this adaptable shape. Infinix did not share any additional specifications or release plans for the Zero Mini trifold, and although they were present last week at MWC Barcelona, they did not exhibit the prototype.
