New and new rumours keep popping up about the upcoming Motorola RAZR 2019. Now we have the first concrete speculation regarding the foldable phone’s specs. It seems that Motorola will go the mid-range route in a bid to lower the price (probably). According to a report posted on xda-developers, the new RAZR will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. Battery capacity is also rumoured to pack a measly capacity of 2,730 mAh, though the report says that this information is likely to be outdated.
Where it gets interesting is the specs of the two displays. The primary foldable one i going to have 6.2″ with a resolution of 876×2142 pixels and will likely be of the P-OLED variety. The external display is of an unknown size and a resolution of 600×800 pixels. The phone will come in three colours: white, black and gold. No info on the camera is available for now.
Pricing and availability are still unknown, but older rumours spoke of it being around the $1500 mark, significantly cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy Fold or Huawei’s Mate X and understandably so given the lower-end internals. We will have to wait and see whether the Voyager, as it is currently known internally will live up to the hype building up around it.
