It seems the rumours of a remake of the most successful model ever put out by Motorola are gaining traction with the appearance of a patent filing (which, it would seem, was also granted). It seems the new RAZR will be a filp phone with a foldable display.
On the outsite it retains much of the old model’s shape and design, even the chin on the lower side that will house the speaker and the microphones. The main display will be a foldable OLED panel with a notch on the top for the earpiece. Across the middle section we can notice hinges, while on the outside we can spot two cameras and a secondary external display, just like the old RAZR V3.
Rumour has it that the model will be announced next month, but it will be a limited edition exclusive to Verizon of which only 200,000 will be produced. The price is said to be around $1500.
